Q. Can I make reservations for DDS 2 Drivers Transportation at anytime?
A. Yes! You can call and schedule a ride in advance!

Q. Do you take reservations for other events?
A. Yes, one week in advance!

Q. Is it safe?
A. Yes, all of our drivers are required to have drug screenings and criminal background checks before they are hired. We send female drivers for women and male drivers for men! This is for your safety as well as theirs.

Q. What is a DDS Transportation Card?
A. A DDS Transportation Card can only be used Thurs.- Sun. 9pm-1:30am when you find yourself in a situation where you are unable to drive, want to avoid riding with an impaired driver, do not want to succumb to peer pressure to drink and drive or simply find yourself stranded.

Q. Do I need to have a contract or transportation card to receive your services?
A. Only if you are at a non-supporting establis
hment.

Q. Why don't you service non-supporting establishments?
A: It's not DDS' choice; it's that of each establishment to choose whether or not to be involved in this program. We will provide our services to non-supporting establishments by reservations only.

Q. I don't drink! How does DDS help me?
A: Chances are you know someone that does drink! Pass the information on to them. We are sure they will appreciate it! Keeping impaired drivers off the road helps you and your loved ones in a multitude of ways.

Q. How can I help Designated Driving Services?

Q. How does your DDS Safe Ride Home Program work?
A. If your family has a contract agreement, and one of you finds yourself in a situation where you are unable to drive, want to avoid riding with an impaired driver, do not want to succumb to peer pressure to drink and drive or simply find yourself stranded, call a family member, friend or Designated Driving Services and we will send a driver to get you home safely 24/7.

Q. How long does the contract last?
A. It is an annual contract and therefore must be renewed each year.

Q. What is the distance or area that is covered?

Q. Is there a minimum age that a teen needs to be in order to sign the contract?
A. No! Although it is scary, statistics show that kids are getting in these situations at the age of 12.

Q. Can someone OTHER than a parent or guardian sign the contract with the teen (assuming the parent or guardian doesn't want to for some reason)?
A. Yes! As long as the person is a family member.

Q. What is a DDS Contract Transportation Card?
A. A Contract Transportation Card is good for 24/7service, when you or your family members (up to 4) find yourself in a situation where you are unable to drive, want to avoid riding with an impaired driver, do not want to succumb to peer pressure to drink and drive or simply find yourself stranded.

Q. What is a Family Night-Out Card?
A. The Family Night-Out Card is a complementary card from DDS for your family should you ever want to spend a night out together. We will provide the transportation to and from the location to remind you that DDS is there whenever needed.

Q. Since it is complimentary, is the family transportation card good for more than one use?
A. No! The card can be used only once.

Q. What is the distance or area that is covered?
A. 5 mile radius.

Q. How do I receive a DDS Family Night-Out Card?
A. You must have a "DDS Safe Ride Home Program" contract! Click Here
